I have always had a true love of black & white photography since I took and processed my own image in grade 3. I have always focused on the final product, and that product being a quality image for exhibition.

Up until this point, I have always had professional labs do my processing, like most of us. But I have been hardly ever happy with the results, preferring always something that is hand done and a little more unique.

I studied darkroom procedures a few years back, and totally fell in love with the process again, and have been working toward heading in that direction again since. I have recently been given the opportunity to start my own darkroom at the camera store I work at. Which is very exciting.

We will be creating hand done black & white photographs from all 35mm negatives. If anyone has never compared the quality of a proper darkroom image to a auto processing machine, I think you’ll be presently surprised at how different your images can look.

They will be processed using only pro ilford chemicals and papers, so you just know the photographs will last a lifetime and beyond. We will be catering to everyone’s needs, from one 6x4 to an exhibition worth of quality prints.

To start with, we will be offering 3 sizes of photographs:

6x4
5x7
8x10

But will move up to larger sizes in a few months once up and running. So if you have quality negatives sitting around and want some beautiful hand done photographs from them, please give us a shot.

Photos can be processed and sent worldwide.

Given that the highlights are "blown-out" in your advertising sample, perhaps you would care to give some details as to the gamma of the original neg and the processes used to produce such a result?
